FMP Medical Practices Telehealth
FMP is dedicated to serving our community at this difficult time. We will continue to provide access to our doctors and nurses, whilst being mindful not to contribute to the spread of disease, especially amongst our more frail and susceptible patient population.
As this virus spreads through our community the government are implementing actions to contain and limit it.
As is evident in the news, this is a rapidly changing environment and we are all having to adjust and change the way we work and live.
This past week we have taken measures to restrict on-site access for symptomatic patients; encouraged at risk populations to utilize telephone consults and cancelled non urgent procedures.
Despite these measures, we continue to have significant numbers of patients attend with flu like symptoms.
We will remain open and operational however all appointments will be via a telephone consultation this will limit
If the doctor deems appropriate, you will be invited to attend and follow a containment protocol onsite
We have consulted with local pharmacies to ensure prescription delivery with minimal patient contact and disruption
Requests for scripts, certificates and license renewal can be done over the phone
Immunisations must attend and staff will inform you on our protocol
These measures are necessary to allow us to continue serving our community and keeping people safe, we thank you for your understanding and cooperation during this difficult time.
