Dr Chew is currently taking time off for maternity leave and will return to FMP in the coming months.
Dr Chew was originally born in Malaysia, and completed her medical degree at the University of Leeds, UK in 2012. Dr Chew continued on working in the UK and completed her GP Training in Yorkshire in 2017.
Dr Chew and her husband migrated to Australia in 2018. Selene said ” I enjoy all aspects of medicine and I like the variety of work I can do as a GP. My aim is to provide holistic care to my patients, looking at the quality of life rather than just the illness.” Dr Chew has a particular interest in women’s health and chronic disease management.
Dr Chew loves the outdoors and sports in general. Selene said “I enjoy water polo, swimming, martial arts, scuba diving and bush walking, hopefully I’ll be able to add surfing to the list soon!”
