Dr Chew is currently taking time off for maternity leave and will return to FMP in the coming months.
Dr Chew was born in Malaysia and completed her medical degree in the UK before migrating to Australia in 2018.
She enjoys all aspects of medicine and says, “I aim to provide holistic care to my patients, focusing on prevention of illnesses and quality of life. I always emphasise lifestyle modifications and use food as thy medicine first and foremost, to empower my patients in their health journey and reduce our reliance on pharmaceuticals”.
Dr Chew is interested in integrative medicine and nutrition and is undertaking further training in this area, complementing her conventional medical training.
Dr Chew loves the outdoors, being active and sports in general. She says, “I love spending time with my young family and watching them grow. I enjoy ocean swimming, water polo, martial arts, scuba diving and bush walking. Someday I’ll hopefully add surfing to the list
