Dr Raj grew up in sunny Malaysia and went on to study medicine at the University of Nottingham in the UK, graduating in 2008. She subsequently trained and qualified as a GP in 2013. After working in various GP roles in the UK, her and her husband moved to Australia with their young children in 2017; in search of the elusive work life balance, which they found quickly and now enjoy daily.
Dr Raj loves the variety that General Practice offers, and has a particular interest in women’s health, sexual health and family planning, adolescent health and preventive medicine. She holds diplomas in Obstetrics and Gynaecology as well as Sexual and Reproductive Health and offer related services such as Implanon and IUD insertions as well as medical termination of pregnancies where needed. She believes in a holistic, patient-centred approach and strive to provide high quality continued care to all patients.
Outside of work, Dr Raj loves spending time with my two children and adorable mini groodle, Milo. She enjoys most outdoor and sporting activities especially hiking, running and playing tennis.
Days available, Monday, Wednesday, Friday and fortnightly Saturdays.
